NFL draft 2017: Pick-by-pick results

Each and every pick from the 2017 draft in one place.

The 2017 NFL draft is here, and 253 of the NCAA’s top players will find out over the next three days where they’ll be starting their professional careers. For teams like the Browns, 49ers, and Jaguars, it’s a chance to rebuild rosters filled with major gaps where NFL talent should be. For the Patriots and Falcons, it’s an opportunity to add firepower to units already proved to be Super Bowl ready.

This year’s event takes place in Philadelphia, forcing angry Jets fans to drive a mere two hours from New York City to follow tradition and boo their first-round pick in person. New England fans, aching to practice booing Roger Goodell before he makes his first appearance this September in Foxborough since Deflategate will have even farther to go.

The likely No. 1 overall pick is Texas A&M pass rusher Myles Garrett. After that, things get much less predictable. Four quarterbacks — Mitchell Trubisky, Deshaun Watson, DeShone Kizer, and Patrick Mahomes — could all be first-round picks or slip to Day 2. A heady crop of defensive prospects, including standouts like Jamal Adams, Jonathan Allen, Marshon Lattimore, Solomon Thomas, and Malik Hooker, are likely to crash the upper echelon of this year’s selections.

The first round kicks off Thursday, April 27 at 8 p.m. ET. Rounds 2-3 get underway Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. The draft wraps up April 29 with the final four rounds, officially concluding when the Denver Broncos name 2017’s Mr. Irrelevant with the 253rd pick of the event.
