'Frozen' actor thanks co-star for saving 'entire family' from Hurricane Irma

Josh Gad is publicly thanking his “Frozen” co-star Kristen Bell for taking his “entire family” out of the path of Hurricane Irma’s destruction.

The Category 4 storm, which is expected to make landfall on the west coast of Florida early Sunday, has led to massive evacuations, and many in the state are already feeling its effects.

Florida’s governor said 25,000 power outages were reported in Miami as of Saturday morning. FEMA added that residents should expect to be without power for days.

“So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma,” he began in a caption on Instagram. “When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew.”

Gad’s sentimental message was accompanied by a picture of Bell, who portrayed the fearless Anna in the Disney animated film, with the actor’s smiling parents.

He continued in the caption: “They don’t make them like this girl. Thank you [Kristen]. You are truly an angel sent from above.”

Bell, 37, said on social media that she “didn’t have the option to leave” so she decided to hunker down in Orlando, located in Central Florida.

On Friday, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram outside of a grocery store.

“Last run to the store for #irma hurricane holdover prep while bracing down in orlando,” she began in her lengthy caption. “We didn’t have the option to leave so here we are. Just doing our best and trying to stay positive but cautious, and trying to help those who need help prepping.”

Bell continued, “Every person i passed today was assisting someone else – #neighborshelpingneighbors – it was beautiful to see. Sad that a hurricane has to bring out the best in everyone – but happy that the community will be holding hands through this.”

“Im grateful to Gary and the team at [Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort] in epcot for helping us feel safe while we get through this together,” she concluded.
