Facebook’s website now uses HTML5 instead of Flash for all videos

Facebook today revealed that every video you see on its site now plays in HTML5 by default– and throughout all web browsers, a modification the business stated “finest allows us to remain to innovate rapidly and at scale, provided Facebook’s plus size and intricate requirements.” Adobe itself just recently acknowledged that it’s time to leave Flash behind, and back in July, Facebook’s security chief required the Flash developer to reveal an end-of-life date for the innovation which, thanks to oft-discovered vulnerabilities, is a consistent target of destructive software application.
